This privacy policy explains what information is collected and how it is processed when you use Screen Magnifier (package name: com.screenmagnifier.app, the "app").
The app can be used without creating an account, and the developer does not directly collect or store personally identifiable information such as your name or email address. To serve ads in the free version, the following information may be collected automatically by the advertising service provider.
The screen magnifier feature uses the Android AccessibilityService API solely to open and move the system’s partial-screen magnification. The service declares only the magnification-control capability (canControlMagnification) and does not use the capability to read window content (canRetrieveWindowContent). The app therefore never captures the screen, never reads text or app contents shown on screen, and never stores, collects, or transmits screen information.
The camera magnifier feature uses the camera only to enlarge objects in front of you. The camera view is displayed on your device in real time only; no photos or videos are saved and nothing is transmitted externally. The screen magnifier feature remains available even if you do not grant camera access.

You can reset your advertising ID or limit personalized ads in your device settings. In the European Economic Area and certain other regions, you can choose whether to allow personalized ads on the consent screen shown at first launch, and you can change this at any time from the app’s ad privacy options.
The app offers a one-time in-app product that removes ads. Payments are processed by the Google Play billing system; the developer has no access to your payment details (such as card numbers). Purchase tokens used to confirm ownership are managed by Google Play.
App settings such as zoom level, handle position, and theme are stored only on your device and are deleted when the app is uninstalled. The developer does not store your usage history on any server.
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
